Sourcing / Procurement Assistant with English


Job description

A large international organization is currently recruiting a knowledgeable Sourcing Specialist. The company offers global scope of work, great international team, high level of expertise and opportunities to develop. If you have been sourcing and advising on the vendor portfolio within drilling market and would like to take up a new exciting challenge, please read below and apply:

  • Collect, evaluate and update market data, trends and changes that could be strategically important to the company
  • Handle requests from vendors
  • Responsible for the qualification process for new vendors and ensure the process is completed within the deadlines
  • Provide support in the supplier approval procedures and ensure they are aligned with the organization's strategies
  • Maintain the vendor database and update the information on a regular basis in order to ensure new vendors are also being included
  • Ensure integration of the processes between internal supply chain functions and external suppliers
  • Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis to the Management Board
  • Provide advice and recommendations regarding the management of materials and other elements that are of high importance

Job requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration/ Logistics or other equivalent and relevant field
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience preferably in an international environment
  • Previous experience with Purchasing is highly desired
  • Excellent communication skills both in written and verbal English
  • Strong SAP & MS Office skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Accurate and concise in reporting and file maintenance
  • A fair degree of self-starting and initiative
  • Accountability for the deliverables and quality orientation
  • Team player, desire to integrate and collaborate
