Purshasing Specialist - fluent in Italian


Job description

The Purchasing Specialist will support internal operations through the efficient and cost-effective buying of goods and services. In this role you will create and maintain a good working relationship with suppliers and vendors to improve cost, quality, delivery, and lead time.

Your general responsabilities will be :

  • Assisting sourcing and procuring goods, services, and other specified items from suppliers for customers
  • Obtaining product and service information from suppliers, including price, availability, and delivery schedules
  • Coordinating supplier orders based on purchase requests from 3PL partners and internal departments using ERP software
  • Maintaining status of all open purchase orders and provide updates to internal department
  • Ensuring delivery of goods by specified dates; track missing or delayed shipments, as directed
  • Setting up new suppliers using ERP system; maintain database of costs, pricing, lead times, and pertinent product specifications
  • Monitorings product inventory andfiling and maintaining records of all purchase transactions
  • Coordinating with the Finance department to ensure complete and timely payment to suppliers
  • Prepare various purchasing-related reports for management board

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree level is a must
  • Experience with purchasing and supplier relationships from 1 to 5 years.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask/prioritize based on urgency
  • Accurate and able to respect short dealdlines
  • Ability to have a 360 helicopter view
  • Being able to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all tasks
  • Being accountable for and take ownership of the Purchasing Specialist role
