Excellent opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant in an international environment! Our client, a company in the logistical industry is looking for strong EA professional to provide assistance to their Vice President. You will be responsible for managing schedules, meeting and travel arrangements, confidential documentations and attend high-level management meetings among other responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage calendar and assist in prioritizing time and email communications
  • Handle general secretarial activities (e.g. travel arrangements, meeting coordination, calendar management, telephone call, filing, handling of correspondence, taking minutes of meeting, expenses)
  • Prepare written communication on behalf of the VP
  • Prepare documents and presentation when needed
  • Prepare board documentation, management proposals and other reports and summaries for board review
  • Participate in team meetings and provide important information in order to highlight action plans and relevant tasks
  • Provide support and follow up on projects assigned to the Vice Presidents
  • Ensure high-level of confidentiality
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with senior management and other business-related stakeholders
  • As an Executive Assistant you also attend Managerial meetings - take minutes and provide support with other ad hoc tasks

Job requirements

Your background:

  • A minimum of 5 years working experience within a Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant role
  • Experience in an international environment is highly desired
  • Bachelor Degree in Business or other relevant field
  • Strong communication skills as well as good typing and proofreading
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and capability to work with confidential information
  • Pro-active and able to anticipate complex issues
  • Able to work with high level of discretion, diplomacy and fast-paced environment
  • Fluent level of English is an absolute must

The company is a large international organization based in the city center of the Hague. They offer a nice office environment and great salary package. The position is to start as soon as possible and will be on a full-time basis.
