Our client in Rotterdam is looking for an Office Assistant to support with operations and HR related issues.

Your responsibilities in this role:

  • Facility activities such as: scheduling trainings, arranging lunch, booking hotels and travel, ordering birth presents etc
  • Welcoming visitors
  • Assist with Marketing Events
  • Maintain Fleet list and administer important data (employment, departure and termination, expirations, ordering process, etc.)
  • Prepare the payroll based on invoices - fines, damages and mutations
  • Discuss management reports and follow up on actions that come out of this
  • Administer new employees, report sickness and recovery notifications, pass on more relevant actions to HR
  • Manage onboarding file, create onboarding documents, schedule meet & greets,
  • Administer pensions and collective health insurance policies
  • Sort out processes and updates in the system and documentations
  • Manage offboarding file, process offboarding checklist

  • Professional proficiency in Dutch and English
  • 4-5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Dutch legislation regarding sickness, social benefits, payroll, labour law
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Autonomous, with hands on and can do mentality
