Our client is a major name in the Consumer Electronics/Homecare sector. The company was formed almost 140 years ago in the US and remains a family owned business. A market leader in the US and a growing presence globally, this company is still going places and still offering great opportunities. 

The International Office in Amsterdam has an immediate opportunity for an International Product Marketing Manager (IPMM) to join them in a newly created role within the business. A perfect time to join this dynamic company and a perfect opportunity for someone who wants to have a direct impact on a key area of the business.

The IPMM will take on the mission of co-leading the commercialization process, working with cross-functional teams. He/she will ensure launch readiness from the product prospective and help evaluate in-market performance.

The IPMM will be responsible for setting both strategic and tactical initiatives for the product portfolio for the key markets in Europe and Asia (e.g. customizing the derivative strategy and helping execute the locally relevant SKUs and derivatives).

Being a product expert, the IPMM will be a “go to” person for the Sales team for product related questions. He/she will develop presentation materials for all major customer meetings.

Working closely with Upstream marketing team (International marketing specialists in the US and Senior International Product Marketing Manager in Amsterdam), Marcom and Trade Marketing teams, he/she ensures a smooth transition of validated value propositions to tangible product & assets.

This role will have frequent interaction with both internal and external parties, including major customers, which will require excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

-     Ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience from the consumer electronics/household appliances sector.

-     Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Market Research, Economics/statistics or other relevant subjects.

-     Proven background and experience working within the client side or agency research.

-     High proficiency and experience in GFK or similar tools.

-     Business level English.

-     A collaborative mindset and ability to communicate with diverse teams in the company.

-     High level presentation skills.

-     Excellent planning, organizing and problem-solving skills.
