Do you work as an Account Manager or Key Account Manager in the Logistic sector? Do you have more than 5 years experience in Sales, then this role is for you!

My client is an international logistics and freight company with headquarters in Italy. They have 23 locations in Europe and Asia and they would like to develop further their business in Europe. ( Benelux, Germany, France..)

The Key Account Manager role offers great flexibility to work from home or from their small office in the southeast of Rotterdam.

In this role, you will have a high level of responsibility, challenging tasks and projects but also a professional and friendly team and an innovative organization with quick decision-making processes and flat hierarchies. 

On daily basis your role will be :

  •  Build and strengthens client relationships at Executive level
  • Establish long-term and trustful customer relations through a pro-active management
  • Build a pipeline of new potential clients but developing a sales plan
  • Oversee the sales process from the Initial contact to strategy, proposal, presentation and successful conclusion as well as grow the current account 
  • Development of individual account management strategies increasing the customers' satisfaction
  •  Consultancy towards the customer regarding our service portfolio
  • Communication between the customer and internal departments
  • Responsible for providing communication of the assigned clients' progress to management and team on a monthly basis
  • Travel to meet new and current Accounts

Requirements

  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Sales or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • A minimum of five years experience in Sales or Account Management in the logistics sector
  • An experience in selling heavy transport is a plus
  • Professional level of English is mandatory, German or French is a plus
  • knowledge of sales management, sales planning and goal setting and consultative selling techniques
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to collaborate and interact effectively with colleagues globally
