In this role you will be responsible for fulfilling customer needs. You guide orders from start to finish through the system where you will be in close contact with logistics, material planning and engineers with occasional travel to customers. In short, you are the ‘spider in the web’.

As a Customer Support Manager, you commit yourself as a representative for customer interests. The customer is central and the role of Customer Support Manager has a key position in this. You supervise repair orders and build, and maintain a good relationship with the customer, by keeping customers informed of the maintenance status of their parts. You do this together with a small team of a material planner and an engineer. What does it mean exactly? You are preparing quotes based on contract agreements based on hours, material and technical substantiation. You also handle warranty questions in collaboration with the Engineering department. You make invoices based on this data. You then link all this back to the customer. You are expected to be able to keep a good overview of the various tasks, be communicative and flexible and if necessary, be able to travel to customers. You will also regularly consult with other departments and identify and improve your bottlenecks and process disruptions. In short, you are an important spider in the web at a particularly complex organization. Do you have this in you?

The job requirements that you need to have for this position:

  • Bachelor’s degree or HBO work and thinking level
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a commercial position
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English in order to be able to communicate with the team (Dutch) and their worldwide customers (English)
