For one of our clients in the sports industry, we are looking for a Customer Service Manager (b2b). We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate, with experience in managing a customer service team and with a strong passion for outdoor sports.

As a Customer Service Manager, you will be managing a small team in the Amsterdam office, and a few Customer Service Representatives in other countries in Europe.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Manage accounts in Europe, receiving their orders and following up with any issues
  • Oversee the operations from Customer Service Representatives in the Amsterdam office and other Europen countries to ensure on time and accurate deliveries
  • Manage the communication to dealers and sales and be the point of contact for general issues
  • Prepare weekly sales and shipping reports
  • Manage b2b platform
  • Oversee the team performance and take actions to meet targets and promote personal development within the team
  • Coordinate seasonal calendar with internal departments
  • Coordinate sample distributions for tradeshows and showroom

What are your skills:

  • 5 to 8 years in experience in a similar role
  • Experience with managing a team in customer service (managing remote teams is a plus)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
  • Excellent people management skills and being able to motivate and develop the team
  • Hands-on approach and working knowledge of b2b Customer Service
  • Experience with seasonal industry is a plus
  • Microsoft AX Dynamics, SSRS reporting, and Cognos knowledge is a plus
  • Good knowledge of MS office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Capable of building long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Passion for sports, nature and outdoors
