Adams Multilingual Recruitment is looking for a new Business Developer for the Amsterdam office. We at Adams are passionate about recruiting and dedicated to placing the right candidates with the right clients. For more than 20 years we’ve been working with both big international names and local businesses, helping them assemble dream teams. This year, we want to grow more! That is why we are seeking a creative and talented Business Developer to join our team.

Your responsibilities will be: 

  • Client acquisition and generation of new business
  • Identify potential customers by using various research tools 
  • Target potential clients throughout the region and plan meetings
  • Extensive telephone sales from warm and cold leads 
  • Development of your own pipeline/sales channel 
  • Lead generation for the team of Consultants 
  • Keep informed of new market trends in the industry as well as the use of Social Media 
  • Networking at events in the region
  • Prepare agreements and documents and keep track of the ongoing contracts 

What we are looking for: 

  • Ideally a candidate with 2–3 years sales experience in B2B/consultancy environment
  • A driven professional with a positive attitude and a strong desire to deliver excellent quality
  • Lots of energy and a creative approach to obtaining new business
  • A strong commercial approach and the ability to manage and grow the sales 
  • Results oriented and tactical approach to business 
  • A confident negotiator with excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Confident with using social media as a sales tool 
  • Ability to build long term relationships 
  • A strong team player 
  • University level education 
  • Business/native level English. Dutch is an advantage but non-essential 
  • A full driving license is essential 
  • A willingness to work outside office hours and attend networking events
