Our client is a fast-growing and sustainable real estate company with 20 offices spanning 5 countries. They are looking for a candidate with experience in secretarial/administrative and office management roles to join their team in Amsterdam as a Team Assistant.

For the role, you will be working with the business support team to provide full administrative and secretarial support mainly to members at the Amsterdam office but also extend to other teams in UK and EU offices.

What you will do 

  • Setting up meetings, seminars, client appointments and arranging meeting rooms as required
  • Overseeing incoming and outgoing posts. 
  • Managing office equipment, machinery, and inventory, as well as organizing needed maintenance while minimizing office expenditure
  • Liaising with maintenance contractors/cleaners/landlord, with assistance from Facilities. 
  • Enforcing office protocols and performing health and safety inspections
  • Producing accurate reports, letters, and other documents in accordance with company standard formats, meeting any agreed deadlines.
  • Accurate and up-to-date filing of correspondence and other documentation.
  • Providing dedicated and efficient secretarial and administration support to the team, including minute meetings, diaries, documents translation
  • Liaising with other operational departments such as BD, HR, BT&T, Finance, A&C. 
  • Processing expense claims and travel arrangements
  • Working within a team and assisting other members of the business support team to ensure the efficiency of the department is kept to a maximum

Who you are

  • Minimum 1 year of experience within a similar role
  • Experience with diary and inbox management
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Great written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • A professional and can-do attitude
