Senior Pricing Quotation Analyst

Our client is a global manufacturing company with corporate offices in central Rotterdam.

They are currently seeking a Senior Quotation Analyst for their Pricing department.

A Sr. Pricing Quotation Analyst supports the Sales department by creating, tracking, and analysing pricing models and ensuring that the pricing methodology complies with company policies and maximizes profitability. Moreover, the pricing team collaborates daily with other key departments including Supply Chain, Production, Logistics, Technical Marketing and Accounting.

Main tasks:

  • Consolidating related pricing findings and produce recommendations
  • Analyze price decisions and provide Sales with key insights to negotiate with clients
  • Translate and implement global pricing strategies into regional, and customer-focused approach
  • Support Sales representatives during all steps of the Pre-Sales process with Regular and Trial Offers, Client Price Lists, Pricing Analysis, etc
  • Review offers ensuring 100% quality, and providing feedback to other analysts
  • Establish and implement the “Market-to-Order” process collaborating with key areas such as Sales, Logistics, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Strategic Pricing, among others
  • Establish and nurture a network with Sales Managers being their main contact regarding to Pricing and Quotations in the Business Unit Europe, CIS & Turkey, mainly focused on Germany, and Mediterranean countries
  • Work closely with Business Unit Directors to develop and implement effective pricing strategies to the given market
  • Responsible for training of other Pricing Quotation Analysts
  • Sales support as key user of company’s CRM


  • 5 years or more working with Sales analytics such as Pricing, Sales KPIs, Tender Negotiations, or related fields such as Market Intelligence, Business Strategy, or Controlling
  • Strong tracking record on activities requiring strong analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent Excel skills for analysis and reporting
  • Proficient skills using SAP for quote preparation would be ideal, and overall knowledge of the tool desirable
  • Previous experience with CRM Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI is an advantage
  • Fluent written and spoken English as well as fluency in at least another European language such as German, Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese will be considered an asset
  • Ability to analyze and create complex data and reports
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and oral
  • Open minded and approachable personality able to manage stakeholders at different levels
