Are you fluent in either French or German? have you been doing order management or customer service for a few years already? Are you looking to take the next step as a Senior or Act as a Team Lead when the Manager is not there? Do you wish to work in an impactful organization, the pharma industry which is playing an important role in our society now more than ever??

For my client in based in Amsterdam, I am searching for a Senior Order Processor / Acting Team Lead (French or German) to join their team! In this role, you will be responsible for order processing, credit memos, and acting as a team lead when the team leaders are absent, potentially you can grow to become the Team Lead for the Amsterdam office!

The organization is an American company, with offices all over the globe, HQ in London and intend to substantially grow their team in Amsterdam.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Team Lead when Team Leads are not present.
  • Be part of a busy team providing customer service: primarily answering calls from customers and processing orders
  • Prepare reports and giving improvement suggestions
  • Order Entry in Microsoft Navision, Open Order Management including resolving stock availability, pricing, and overall issues
  • Communicate to customers any changes to their order status and of any potential issues affecting supply or delivery timing
  • Take ownership of customer issues and follow through to solve problems while exercising sound judgment, focusing on achieving a resolution that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Communicate with internal departments in order to resolve customer queries.
  • Handle daily email and phone interactions – you’ll be dealing with PhD students, procurement teams, both universities and commercial customers.
  • Other responsibilities over time such as account updating/account creation or supporting key accounts

Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience

  • 4-5 years of experience in customer support or sales support
  • Customer service-minded mentality
  • Experience with any ERP system
  • Excellent written skills in English and either German or French.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to clearly understand & communicate what is required when communicating with customers and colleagues.
  • Cultural sensitivity - you will be working & communicating in an international environment with team members from the US, UK, Germany, France and other.
