For our client – a growing international company in the medical devices industry – we are currently looking for a full-time Master Data Specialist. You will join an international team to work on the EMEA level and report directly to the Customer Service Manager EMEA.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to define, develop and improve master data management strategies and processes. You will play an important role in maintaining the accurate and quality items master data in Oracle EBS, as well as aligning with business requirements and governance policies. This position is responsible for master data of different EMEA entities (Netherlands, France, Belgium, UK, Germany and Poland).

What you will do

  • Provide an accurate and timely response to all requests to create, update or modify, and extract item master information
  • Analyze, clean, and monitor large amounts of data as well as manage mass changes or updates to items master data
  • Continuously review and validate master data for accuracy and quality; regularly monitor and flag for missing and inconsistent data.
  • Assess and identify challenges in current master data management processes; establish processes to address the challenges to continuously monitor data quality.
  • Adhere to established data governance policies and develop training plans needed to implement governance policies.
  • Develop data standards which align with business requirements and priorities.
  • Ensure users with MDM responsibility have required skills and access to carry out their MDM responsibilities.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree - preferably in Supply Chain, Finance / Accounting, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Some years of data management experience with strong interest in working with data
  • Prior experience with any large scale ERP system, Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (EBS) preferred
  • Advanced experience with Excel
  • Great verbal and written communication skills in English – fluency in other European languages is a plus
  • Experience with Medical Device industry and EDI is a plus
  • Eligible to work in the Netherlands
