Our client is a hugely prestigious NGO with a global mission to expose environmental problems and develop solutions for a green and peaceful future for all of us.

They have an urgent requirement for an experienced HR Administrator with team leading experience to join them in their Amsterdam location although they are still currently working remotely. This is an opportunity to put all of your operational experiences in to play and to act as a role model for best practice across the organization.

In this role you will supervise, delegate and represent the Administration Team, which supports key people processes/service level agreements (SLAs) such as onboarding, staff job changes or relocations, applying for permits, tax queries, maintaining payroll data and change initiatives.

 You’ll be tasked with maintaining and advancing the team’s reputation for efficiency and its ability to solve complicated administrative processes that arise as a result of operating in a global context and differing jurisdictions.

 What do you need to offer?

  • Experience of leading and managing a small, effective HR operational team in a complex international organization.

  • Proven understanding of and creativity in operational HR administrative processes, with experience of coordinating payroll & financial processes (inc. staff budgets) and preferably knowledge of staff global mobility and tax equalization, as well as HRIS(AFAS), SLA and ticketing systems.

  • The ability to continuously review/identify areas for improvement and coordinate the collection, reporting and analysis of sensitive data.

  • Excellent stakeholder management along with resource planning (for projects and initiatives within the Admin Team).

  • Experience in Dutch labor law, preferably including Arbowet and absenteeism. Proficiency in both English and Dutch is also preferred.
