For a client of ours – a holding office of an international trading company – we are currently seeking an all-round Accountant to take care of financial accounting, treasury activities, traders’ support as well as representing the company's interests in the Netherlands and assuring that the company meets Dutch statutory requirements. This is an ideal job for a curious and eager to learn individual with broad interests and excellent communication and coordination skills. The right candidate speaks fluent Spanish and English. 

Accountancy tasks:

  • Invoicing business Clients based globally
  • Accounts receivable
  • Accounts payable
  • Treasury (maintaining contact with banks, buying and selling foreign currencies)
  • Intercompany Loans (Interest Calculations, Payable and Receivable)
  • Dividends (Payable and Receivable and Resolutions, Documentation)
  • Calculate Corporate Income Tax in cooperation with external partner (Monthly Prevision, Yearly Definitive)
  • Posting of quarterly Dutch and monthly Spanish VAT Refund
  • Calculate and Making out of Monthly, Quarterly, Annual Balance Sheets
  • Monthly Financial Closure
  • Reporting (daily, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual) of: Budgets, Cash Flows, Liquidity

Trading Support Activities:

  • Redacting, Managing and Signing of (Export / Import) Contract with Clients and Providers
  • Creating, Processing and Managing of Customs Documentation for Exports
  • Information (Customs Documentation) Exchange with Port Agents and banks (letter of credit)
  • Registration (in SAP) of (New) Clients, Tax Indicators, Incoterms and Pricing of Products
  • Stock Management of Products
  • Invoicing of Selling of Products and Services (Dispatch / Demurrage of Shipments)

Other Tasks:

  • Preparation and Direct Participation in the General Annual meeting and Councils of Boards of Directors of the Fiscal
  • Presentation of Financial Statements of all Subsidiaries in Boards of Directors
  • Preparation and Presentation of commercial, legal, tax aspects of Subsidiaries relevant to Board adopting decisions
  • Acting as Liaison between different Parties concerning M & A Operations (Providing Information for Due Diligences)
