Chi comes from Vietnam’s capital, Hanoi, a city of rich history with smalls streets and tightly closed houses. She studied Trade and Linguistics, but got more interested in Business practices and especially SMEs and start-ups. After her Bachelor studies, she took a gap year, did an exchange program in the US which was also her first time traveling alone. Following the trip, she had an internship at Uber Vietnam, where she really liked the working style and the flat structure. Chi has always wanted to see more of the world, expand her knowledge and become more independent; hence, she decided to study abroad. She chose the Entrepreneurship and Consultancy Master program in Rotterdam because of the cultural and industrial diversity the city can offer.
Chi joined Adams at the beginning of 2020. She knew about Adams from a friend, who got a job thanks to our consultants. What impressed her was the genuine effort that Adams put in to tailor the service for both candidates and clients. That is really rare to see in the recruitment market. The way the team supports each other and goes for the common goal of the whole company rather than for themselves is amazing.
She enjoys the exposure with many people from different backgrounds and listening to their stories. Also, when she matches a candidate with their dream job and a company with their new team member, it gives her immense satisfaction.
If something stands out about Chi, that’s her passion for cooking! She is preparing her own food blog to share recipes and tips and would love to open her own restaurant one day. Chi also enjoys wandering and discovering good spots for food and drinks, so if you ever travel to Vietnam, just drop her some lines, she’ll give you many tips and cool spots to dine and drink!
