Job description Procurement Manager
- Manage the team on a daily basis and all responsibilities that come with this
- Be responsible for the ongoing procurement of raw materials, internal operational reporting and market analysis associated with such activity
- Negotiating agreements required to meet the procurement goals and overall mission of the company.
- Meet procurement targets while maintaining quality specifications, resolving quality issues as they arise, providing first-class customer service and gathering market information for further analysis
- Establish and maintain European supplier relationships
- Clear communication with the back office in order to provide a high standard of service
- (Commercial) right hand to the Managing Director
- Coordinate all projects
- Business development
- Write annual Business Plan
- Focus on budgeting in coordination with the Managing Director
Job requirements Procurement Manager
- HBO (Higher Vocational Education) in e.g. Commercial Economics NEVI II is a plus
- Professional appearance
- 3-5 years experience in a procurement type of role and/or in a trading role
- 3-5 years experience as a Manager
- Languages: fluent in Dutch and English. An extra European language is a plus
- EU citizenship, valid passport/ID and driver’s license with safe driving record
- Superior commercial, communication, Management and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation and analytical/problem solving capabilities
- Open minded, quick thinker, team player, hands on approach, able to work fairly independent, self motivated and entrepreneurial mentality
- Flexible person also because of the amount of travel involved
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel)
