Background: Maureen established Adams Multilingual Recruitment in 1997. Since then she has grown the company from a one-woman operation to the thriving business that it is today. During this time Maureen has remained at the helm leading, inspiring, motivating and guiding the Adams team.
Maureen has strong entrepreneurial skills and over 25 years’ experience in recruitment. Following her studies in Psychology and Sociology Maureen embarked on her career in recruitment as a Consultant in London. She soon progressed to the position of Branch Manager. In the 1980’s Maureen moved to Hong Kong where she worked in executive recruitment for 4½ years. Whilst in Hong Kong Maureen met and married her Dutch husband and, in 1991, they took the decision to move to the Netherlands. Maureen worked for several years as an executive recruiter for blue chip companies before ‘taking the plunge’ and setting up Adams.
