registration at the Town Hall

Law requires you to register at your local Town Hall in the Gemeentelijke Basisadministratie (EU as well as Non-EU nationals) if you will be residing in the municipality for 4 months or longer. This also acts simultaneously as registration in the municipal register and triggers automatic notification of details to the Foreign Police and the department of Immigration and Naturalization.
